Reliable and courteous parking service for visitors to London Gatwick airport.

London

The Bathhouse, 8 Bishopsgate Churchyard, London EC2M 3TJ

It's great to discover a secret restaurant - one that you just don't expect to be there. If that restaurant is itself unusual and full of surprises then it's even better and the Bathhouse is both.

Leong's Legend, 82 Queensway, Bayswater, London W2 3RL

I have not been to a Taiwanese restaurant before. I don't think there are many of them in London. There are two more Leong's Legends in Chinatown, I think, and now this new one in Bayswater, which they describe as a 'little Chinatown'. Taiwan is geographically quite close to China so I expected it to be a bit similar. A little foolish on reflection, when you think that the UK is close to France!

The Ship & Shovell, 1-3, Craven Passage, Charing Cross, London, WC2N 5PH

The Ship and Shovell is a much-loved pub under the platforms of London Charing Cross station, divided into two halves. There's a larger bar with tvs and a smaller, quieter bar across the alley with an upstairs bit. Both serve excellent Badgers beer and traditional British pub grub.

Chez Bruce 2 Bellevue Rd London SW17 7EG

The Michelin starred Chez Bruce is very famous. In fact some might say it is South London's most famous restaurant. We'd been meaning to go for ages and finally did. Make sure you book, as, being famous, it's well patronised.

Royal Dragon, 30 Gerrard Street, Chinatown, London W1D 6JS

Its amazing how a quick shower of rain can help you choose somewhere to eat. Wandering along Gerrard Street with assorted friends and children, assignment was to "eat somewhere in Chinatown".

Launceston Place. 1A Launceston Place, London W8 5RL

It was Valentines weekend and I had decided to take Mrs La for a day out in London. As I wanted this to be as special as could possibly be, I had undertaken painstaking research into where the best possible venue to eat would be.

Morgan M Restaurant, 489 Liverpool Road, Islington London N7 8NS

We booked for lunch on a cold Thursday in February, the welcome was warm and attentive, but formal. After we had ordered, along came the amuse-gueule: tiny, delicious eggy things. Our starters both came on oblong plates: Pan-fried Foie Gras from 'Les Landes' on toasted Brioche, with Fig Salad and Red Wine Syrup for me, Carpaccio of Gently Smoked Diver-caught Scallops, with Black Truffle Foam and Dressing for him.

'More' Restaurant 104 Tooley Street, London Bridge, London SE1 2TH

I booked 'More' following reading an article about the owner, founder of the Real Greek in the FT. I booked for a party of 8 and wasn't quite sure what to expect.

Jin Korean Restaurant, 16 Bateman Street London W1D 3AH

"What kind of food would you like - pick anything", I said. "Vietnamese", she said. Q has not been well and not travelled anywhere for months so today we got on a train to London, hoping that when she got off the other end that she wouldn't feel too wobbly.
